At the same meeting, they voted unanimously to REFUSE a 12 turbine wind farm, CEMMAES 3 within a TAN 8 Strategic Search Area, which would extend existing wind farms, near Llanbrynmair close to the Snowdonia National Park, on the grounds that there was insufficient information on all significant topics.
Pentre Tump Wind Farm, like Reeves Hill Wind Farm, has huge turbines set up on the skyline, which would be visible for many miles around, despoiling a rural area of Powys dependent on tourist income. See Developers map of VISIBILITY for Reeves Hill Wind Farm turbines.
