4th February 2013 is the new date set for an oral hearing, before a judge in Bristol, to decide on permission to proceed with a Judicial Review of Herefordshire Council’s handling of the Reeves Hill Wind Farm application, DCNW2008/1289/F.
This hearing was changed from 19th November because, on 22nd October 2012, Herefordshire Council gave permission to vary the Conditions attached to the original Planning Permission (N121404F). Buxtons Solicitors added a further challenge about the legality of this later decision to the challenge of the original wind farm permission granted on May 26th 2012.
Herefordshire Planning Committee first voted to approve Reeves Hill “Community” Wind Energy Scheme against massive local opposition, from both sides of the England-Wales border, in February 2009 – nearly four years ago now. At that time, the Council did not know exactly where the border was!
